Shredding and Recycling Day!

Format: Drive-thru only. Participants must stay in their vehicles while staff remove items from the trunk or rear.
Eligibility: Free for all Oldsmar residents and businesses.
Accepted Items & Limits
Paper Shredding: Limited to 5 boxes or bags per vehicle.
Note: No three-ring binders are allowed.
Electronics Recycling: No limit on the number of items.
Exclusions: CRT monitors and televisions are not accepted.
Medication Disposal: No limit for personal medications.
Restriction: The Sheriff's Office cannot collect prescription medications from businesses.
Prohibited: Syringes and medical equipment are not accepted.
Preparation Tips
Medication: It is requested that pill/capsule medications be removed from original bottles and placed in a sealed Ziploc bag with labels destroyed. Liquid medications should remain in their original containers with the caps taped shut.
Witnessing: If you want to watch your paper being shredded, you may be allowed to pull over to a designated area to view the bin being lifted into the shredder.
