Safety Harbor Waterfront Fireworks

One of Tampa Bay's most beloved fireworks shows is back at its longtime home at Waterfront Park this year. A quick heads up: due to ongoing repairs from the 2024 hurricanes, there won't be food vendors or a band stage on site this year, so plan to bring your own chairs, blankets, drinks, and snacks. The fireworks display itself is not being scaled back - expect the same great show. Handicapped parking is available at the Safety Harbor Library, and standard parking will be available at Safety Harbor Middle School.
Harbor Bar Mega-Show
📍 Harbor Bar, 840 Main St, Safety Harbor | Saturday, July 4, starting at 1:00 PM
If you want food, drinks, and entertainment alongside the celebration, Harbor Bar is hosting a free, all-day block party with live music, a dunk tank, drink specials, and great views of the evening fireworks. A great pairing with the more family-focused waterfront celebration.

As evening sets in, multiple satellite bars open across the property with live entertainment all evening - including sets from DJ Deacon, Tampa Funk Machine, and the Logan Grant Band — alongside a hot dog eating contest at 7:00 PM and prime views of the waterfront fireworks.
A Few Tips for the Holiday
Arrive early to any fireworks viewing location - parking fills up fast across all of these events, especially in Safety Harbor and downtown Tampa. If you're heading to Safety Harbor's Waterfront Fireworks, remember to pack your own snacks and drinks this year since vendors won't be on site. And if you're celebrating from home, Oldsmar's parks and outdoor spaces are also a great low-key option for a cookout with a view.
However you choose to celebrate, Oldsmar's location puts you within a short drive of some of the best Fourth of July festivities in all of Tampa Bay - and with the country's 250th birthday this year, it's shaping up to be a celebration worth getting out for.
