What Is Oldsmar Cares?
Oldsmar Cares is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to providing stop-gap financial assistance, food, and clothing -at no cost - to those in need in the greater Oldsmar area. What makes this organization truly special is what drives it: every single person who keeps the doors open and the shelves stocked is a volunteer. Because Oldsmar Cares is 100% volunteer run, every dollar donated goes directly to those in need.

What They Provide
The scope of what Oldsmar Cares offers is truly impressive for a fully volunteer-driven organization. Services include food, clothing, shoes, baby diapers and supplies, personal hygiene items, pet supplies, and household and utility bill assistance.
Their food pantry is stocked with essentials, and thanks to community partnerships, they've been able to expand their offerings. Through their partnership with Bayside Church, Oldsmar Cares has increased food storage capacity to provide a larger selection of fresh meat and produce to families in need. Oldsmarcares
To put the impact of a donation into perspective, just $25 provides one bag of groceries for a family, $50 covers a holiday dinner, $100 stocks groceries for four families, and $200 can cover rent or utility assistance for one family. Oldsmarcares
⚠️ Current Urgent Need: Kids' Summer Clothing
Right now, Oldsmar Cares has an immediate need for children's summer clothing in sizes 2T through 5T. If you have any new or gently used items sitting in your closet that your little ones have outgrown, this is the perfect opportunity to put them to good use. Every piece of clothing donated helps dress a child in our community for the summer ahead. Drop off donations at 149 State Road 580 West during open hours - it truly makes a difference.
When & Where to Find Them

A Community That Shows Up - Especially When It Counts
Oldsmar Cares doesn't just show up on ordinary days. When Hurricane Helene tore through the region, Oldsmar Cares joined a rapid alliance of community organizations to coordinate support for those impacted …providing groceries, clothes, toiletries, and even access to showers.
That kind of responsiveness is only possible because of the deep network of community partners that surround and support this organization. Partners include the Rotary of Oldsmar/East Lake, Bayside Church, the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, and the Feeding America Network's Tampa Bay food bank, which allows Oldsmar Cares to purchase food at significant discounts.
